My last review of the month is the November Pip Box and the line-up is all about self-care something we should all practice more of plus it fits in really nicely with the run up to Christmas! Covering mainly skin care in addition to make-up and a stress relief potion, it’s another well thought out edition and contains mainly new discoveries for me on the cruelty-free front which is just one of the reasons why this box always ranks high on my list.

As of Monday 23rd July 2018, Pip Box have changed their subscription plans and pricing. For more information please click here

If you’re new to Pip Box then they are a strictly cruelty-free beauty subscription and their boxes contain 5 beauty treats, which will be a mix of full sized products and travel sized treats ranging from make-up, skincare, body and hair care products from organic and natural to multi-award winning brands. Their subscriptions start from £20.00 depending on the plan you opt for but you’ll also be pleased to know that 50p from each box sold goes to an animal friendly charity.

So without further ado here are all the goodies that featured inside this month’s box:

A self-care curation wouldn’t be complete without a face mask and the Vitamasques Sapphire Face Mask (Full size RRP £5.99) is definitely something that I’m intrigued by. This new generation Korean face mask combines skincare with gemstone therapy, aromatherapy and colour therapy to achieve multi-sensory results. The first of the 4-in-1 therapies is Colour Therapy which helps to align your chakras to different wavelengths depending on which colour the mask contains. The blue coloured mask contains sapphire powder and lavender essential oil to help you to relax and sleep well. The blue plant extracts, such as blueberries and violet flowers help to hydrate and clarify your skin. It’s also free of Mineral Oil, Phthalates & Sulphates, Animal Cruelty and Vegan-Friendly.

Sticking to skin care we have the Konjac Sponge Company. K Sponge (Full size RRP £8.99) and it’s one of the brand’s newest launches. The Green Tea infused heart shaped sponge works wonders on the skin, battling wild weather irritation and keeps the skin naturally hydrated. This antioxidant-rich and anti-ageing addition helps calm and soften the skin for a fresh, revitalised complexion. I love these sponges, it’s a great way to step up your cleansing routine plus the squidgy sponge once wet feels so lovely on the skin!

Up next and another product I’m looking forward to trying is the Divine and Handmade Pure Hazelnut Oil (Full size RRP £9.90), a brand I’ve not come across before but this multipurpose oil is ideal for all types of skin, especially oily and problematic. It promises to effectively helps cleanse the pores, as well as eliminating acne and benefits from being rich in vitamins E and A known for their antioxidant properties, regenerating, toning the skin and rebuilding the protective barrier of the skin. You can also use few drops on wet ends of your hair and say goodbye to split ends!

On the make up front and the only product I wasn’t too fussed about was the Manna Kadar Glow Illuminator (Full size) as I already own this thanks to another box! This incandescent highlighter liquid gives a radiant glow to the skin and lights it up in a soft, diffused way without any harsh shimmer or glitter flecks!  I love that you can mix this with body lotion (perfect for the festive season) or create a dewy day look when mixed with foundation and is a universal shade that’s soft and subtle.

Up next and something that’s going to come in really handy is the Tisserand Total De-stress Mood Fix Mist (Full size £8.95) which creates a a cloud of calm. It contains 100% natural pure essential oils blend of sweet Orange, balancing Geranium and warming Nutmeg to help to reduce feelings of anxiety and brings a sense of calm.

My Verdict

With December being such a manic and stressful month and with winter kicking in, I think this month’s self-care line up is such a beneficial one and features key essentials such as skin rescuers, make-up and a stress relief spray to get us back to our fabulous selves! I also like that month on month, Pip Box introduce me to a host new brands and products which in turn makes the unboxing so much more interesting. I’ve not tried everything as of yet but once again the skin care additions look rather promising and the stress-relief spray is most certainly going to come in handy! In terms of value, every single item is good sized so you’ll definitely be able to judge whether you like them or not. If you’re thinking of making the switch to cruelty-free it’s so easily possible with this subscription, I’ve come across a number of brands that I have truly come to love all thanks to Pip Box plus they also include some discount codes which you can redeem via the brands featured.
