Chillventa sets out agenda for October digital event

Three-day digital event will  provide participants with an international conference and networking tools in absence of a physical event until 2022

A ‘virtual version’ of Chillventa will take place between 13 – 15 October with a focus on online networking and knowledge sharing.

According to the event’s organisers, Chillventa eSpecial will allow the industry to discuss new products, project and other industry developments in place of the postponed physical event that has now been postponed until 2022 owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

The first day of the virtual event on 13 October will be hosted as an international conference looking at key issues facing the refrigeration technology market.  The proceeding two days of the digital event will then host a series of lectures from a number of different companies.

Chillventa director Daniela Jeinkel said the decision to held a digital event reflected recent interest from customers for an industry platform to share information and guidance in place of the postponed show.

She said, “The Chillventa eSpecial is our response to the level of interest from our community and will reflect a large part of the world’s leading exhibition for refrigeration technology in virtual form.”

Ms Henkel said that Chillventa eSpecial was designed to support direct and personal interaction between participants.

She added, “We must remember that Chillventa is the international business platform for the refrigeration, air-conditioning, ventilation and heat pump sector. And if we can’t see each other in person at the exhibition venue in Nuremberg this year, we can enjoy meeting up with our customers via the web.”

Organisers of the event have claimed that a range of different communication options will be available for companies and participants in order to engage with each other.

This will include a matchmaking system intended to provide suggestions for contacts that best meet an individual participant’s needs.

The organisers added, “Other services will include chatrooms and many other options to meet business friends, and directly discuss and learn about new and innovative products and news from the sector.”

Further details of the event will be made available on the official Chillventa website at a later date.
