Every day, nonprofit organizations are finding new ways to care for their communities. Nonprofit giveaways often help make that possible. Organizations use giveaways to raise funds, raise awareness and do so much more.

We share four stories about organizations that use nonprofit promotional items provided through 4imprint® one by one® grants to help them accomplish their mission. If you’re looking for ways to turn giveaways into results, take a look at these touching stories.

Banners help raise awareness

The Sailing Science Center team is building an interactive science museum that will feature more than 200 exhibits across seven galleries (just like the Seven Seas). The organization hopes to inspire people through sailing and science as attendees discover and play. They also hope to build awareness of ocean health. Three Economy Retractor Banner Displays were designed to resemble a flowing wave and raise awareness at events and functions.

Pens provide valuable information

Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas is a 100% citizen-based organization that serves as a link between the community and law enforcement. Using a communication system that guarantees anonymity, citizens are able to pass information to Crime Stoppers, which connects with law enforcement agencies to take action. The organization gives away Bic® Clic Stic® Pens to remind people who to call when they see criminal activity—and to jot down key details they might need to remember.

Giveaways help spread the word

The Jennings County Council on Domestic Violence (JCCDV) serves more than 300 abuse victims and their families each year. The organization provides information and resources to help people stay safe and free from domestic violence. JCCDV also assists with legal actions. They’re using sweaters and a tablecloth to draw attention at events. Cubano Pens are given out as a nonprofit giveaway to help spread the word—and make it easy for others to pass their information along discreetly.

H2: Puzzle books keep minds sharp

The Alzheimer’s Association Wyoming Chapter cares for people living with memory loss, supports their families and caregivers, and educates the public. The organization accomplishes this through consultations with those affected by these diseases, classes to educate the community, and support for accelerating research. The group used SharpMind Games – Active Mind puzzle books as a nonprofit promotional item to share with people taking classes and others who need a way to keep their mind sharp.
